The NokTree.com Genealogy Project was designed to allow its users the ability to create a very large family tree. The way we plan to achieve this goal is to allow everyone the ability to add and edit individuals in the database. If everyone has the ability to upload and work off of each others research, everyone has the potential to increase the size of their family tree. Being able to connect your family tree to others will increase your research efficiency allowing you to focus on more undiscovered individuals.
If you are worried about someone changing or removing your family records, you should know that versions of every individual and family are stored and you can revert or restore individuals and families at any time.
We know you have spent a lot of time and put a lot of effort into your personal research, so please know that Nok takes no ownership of the content/ideas uploaded to the site, but merely provides a free way for people to exchange their research and ideas. We are able to provide you with all of these services for free through the use of ads seen around the site.
