Hi all I am hoping that someone will have info on Henry James Cribbs who married Frances E Stanfield his 1st wife, she died about 1918, they are my great grand parents on my mothers father side. Can anyone help me
I don't know if this helps, but on the 1880 census in Tattnall Co., GA there is a James Cribbs (23) and his wife Gelleann (21). They have a daughter Frances E. Cribbs that is 3 years old. On "Rootsweb" Henry and Frances are mentioned as being in Tattnall Co., GA. Page 447A
In the same census in Tattnal Co., GA, their is a Jesse Standfield (39) and his wife Laviney (34) They have children Eliza A., James W., Frances E. and Isham listed. This Frances E. Standfield is (8). Page 436C
In the 1880 census in Bryan county, Georgia there is a Henry J. Cribbs (9) living with his father Henry J. Cribbs (39) and his wife Caroline L. Cribbs (38).
