Does anyone have suggestions for researching soldiers that fought in the War of 1812? Are there any pension papers or anything? Thanks

BELIEVE IT OR NOT I WAS ABLE TO FIND A RELATIVE GENERAL WOLFE IN A
HISTORY BOOK JUST AS THE FAMILY ORAL HISTORY SAYS. HE CAPTURED
FORT QUEBEC IN 1812 AND WAS KILLED. HIS UNCLE IS IN MY DIRECT LINE
AS "OLE CAP" ORAL HISTORY AND HE HAD A DAUGHTER SARAH AND I HAVE
BEEN ABLE TO FIND A CAPTAIN WOLFE IN THE REV.BUT NO MENTION OF A
DAUGHTER NAMED SARAH WOLFE WHO MARRIED JOHN SAYLOR. BUT I AM NEW AT
THIS AND MY ORAL FAMILY HISTORY HAS HIT ON EVERYTHING IT SAYS.
