I have been trying to up date a book written by my ancestor, William A. Start, for several years now. I was just going to include my direct line but ended up gather information on all families with the surname Start.
Doing research on the web has been hard with a surname like ' Start '. When you enter the name into any search engine, it comes up with anything with the word ' start 'within it. I, as I can imagine many other genealogist, have discovered that names can change down through the years. From what I have learned, the orginal name was " Sturt ".
Anyways, it been a fun hobby!
