I grew up in Robinson, IL. I graduated with a BA in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University in Bloomington. I received a MFA from University of Missouri - Kansas City in Acting and Directing. I was a freelance stage director for over twenty years. I met my boyfriend/life partner in 1984 and was have been together ever since. We lived in Kansas City for 17 years before moving to Chicago in 1997. I am now in a graduate program for Community Counseling. I plan to work as a mental health counselor with the chronically mentally ill.
